Action: Shoulder Flexion, Internal Rotation, and Adduction

Innervation: C5, 6 (Axillary Nerve)

EMG studies:

Antagonists (opposite actions) - If this muscle is overworking look for stiffness in these:

 Shoulder Extension: Lats

 Shoulder External Rotation: Teres Minor

Agonists & Synergists (same actions) - If this muscle is overworking look for weakness in these:

 Shoulder Flexion: Biceps

 Shoulder Internal Rotation: Subscapularis

Integrated Meridian (connective tissue & pathway) - if this muscle is tight look for tightness in these

Superficial Back Line:  Lats, Glute Max (list all other muscles on the line with their hyperlinks)

PNF Diagonals (neuromuscular patterns) - if this muscle is overworking look for weakness in these

 D1 FLEXION
